Is Confessa really anonymous?

Yes, by default all posts on Confessa are anonymous. Your username is not displayed with your posts unless you specifically choose to show it. However, we do maintain internal records for moderation purposes to prevent abuse.

How do I create an account?

Click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner of the page. You'll need to provide an email address and create a username. Your email is used for account verification and recovery but is never displayed publicly.

What are tokens and how do they work?

Tokens are the virtual currency of Confessa. You can earn tokens through various activities on the platform, such as daily logins, receiving likes on your posts, and completing certain actions. Tokens can be used to access premium features or boost your posts for more visibility.

How do I earn tokens?

You can earn tokens by:

• Logging in daily (daily streak rewards)
• Receiving likes on your posts
• Having your comments upvoted
• Completing special challenges or promotions
• Purchasing token packages

Can I purchase tokens?

Yes, you can purchase token packages through our secure payment system. Visit the "Get Tokens" page in your dashboard to see available packages and pricing.

How do I create a post?

Click the "New Post" button in the navigation menu. Fill out the form with your post title, content, and optionally add tags and select a category. You can also choose whether to show your username or remain anonymous for that specific post.

Are there any restrictions on what I can post?

Yes, all posts must comply with our Community Guidelines. Content that contains hate speech, harassment, explicit sexual material, promotion of illegal activities, or personally identifiable information will be removed. All posts are reviewed by moderators before being published.

Can I edit or delete my posts?

You can delete your own posts at any time from your profile page. However, editing is not allowed to maintain the integrity and context of comments and interactions that may have already occurred on your post.

How do I change my username or password?

Go to your Profile Settings page by clicking on your profile icon and selecting "Settings." From there, you can update your username, password, and other account information.

Can I deactivate or delete my account?

Yes, you can deactivate or permanently delete your account from the Profile Settings page. Deactivation temporarily hides your profile, while deletion permanently removes all your data from our system.

What happens to my posts if I delete my account?

If you delete your account, your posts will remain on the platform but will be completely anonymized with no way to trace them back to your account. If you want your posts removed as well, you should delete them individually before deleting your account.

How does Confessa protect my privacy?

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your email address is never publicly displayed, and your posts are anonymous by default. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

Can other users see my email address?

No, your email address is never visible to other users. Only your username is visible, and only on posts where you've chosen to disable anonymity.

How can I report inappropriate content or users?
